"What is this all this about?"
Stretching of almost any non-bony body part is possible and great increases in size can be accomplished (look at the gigantic holes people put in their ears or at the enormous lip plates in some African tribes). This type of stretching is considered semi-permanent as, over time, the body part will return near normal proportions if use of the stretching device is discontinued. As with any stretching method, care should be exercised in listening to one's own body for signs of injury.

"What is the metric equivalent?"
An easy way to convert SAE measurements into metric measurements is to use Google's built-in calculator function. In the Google search box, type the SAE measurement in parentheses followed by the desired conversion unit like this...

"Why is there a $40.00 handling fee for checks/money orders?"

"What the heck is Delrin plastic?"
Delrin® is a very durable polymer that has been approved by the FDA for use in the food services industry (MSDS). Manufactured by DuPont, it's used in a wide variety of products (way too many to list) and often as a substitute for metal parts. But, because it is non-metallic it will not set off metal detectors and casts less of a shadow on X-rays.

"How much is shipping?"
Shipping/handling in the United States is a flat rate of just $5.00 usd on all orders up to 4 pounds (up to 8 pieces depending on size). All shipping in the United States is via USPS PRIORITY mail.

"Do you ship outside the U.S.?"
YES! Shipping to the following countries is available...

Canada & Mexico - Flat rate of $10.00 usd.

United Kingdom - Flat rate of $12.00 usd.

Australia - Flat rate of $12.00 usd.

"Why isn't my tracking information changing?"
This is a good question. In fact, we had to inquire at the post office to find out why...

It turns out that USPS Priority tracking information does NOT track deliveries from point to point. Instead, it's used for "delivery confirmation" and as such, you won't see a change in the package status until it's actually delivered. Their choice of words ("tracking") is unfortunate. We are currently trying to find a better solution, but for right now and for what we do, USPS Priority is the best balance of speed and economy.

"How many should I buy?"
Probably one more than you think will fit. Seriously, if you're just starting out, you'll experience the most significant gains in the first few weeks of regular use as the "slack" in your skin is taken up. Increases will level out after that.

"What special care is required?"
Following these instructions will GREATLY increase the life of your product!

Steel Models…

• Before use, lightly lubricate entire device (including screw threads) with baby oil.
• Screw together slowly and with care.
• NEVER over tighten screws. Finger (snug) tight is all that is necessary.
• After use, wipe with a soft cloth. Never use any harsh chemicals or abrasives. Lubricate entire device (including screw threads) with baby oil, reassemble, and return to protective bag until next use.

Delrin Models...

• Before use, lightly lubricate entire device (including screw threads) with baby oil.

• NEVER over tighten screws. Screws are made from nylon and can be stripped if over-tightened. Finger (snug) tight is all that is necessary.

"Why does the name 'Changtopia' appear on the shopping cart and payment pages?"
Changtopia is the parent company/operator of this website. In order to protect privacy that name will be the one that appears on your credit card (or other instant payment) statement, not nsbodymods.

"Do you accept returns?"
Due to the nature of this product (personal use), returns are not accepted for general reasons such as improper fit, cosmetic imperfections (these come all the way from overseas), etc. Returns are accepted and fully reimbursed (including shipping) if we have made an error with your order such as shipping the wrong item. Other reasons for returns are handled on a case by case basis.

"What tools are necessary for installing/removing the ball stretchers?"
A common Allen wrench (also known as a hex wrench, hex key, or allen key) is all that is needed. These are in SAE sizes, but you could probably get a metric size to work. The correct SAE sizes are available in the Accessories Section.

"Are larger/smaller sizes available?"
